Simering rings are used to protect shafts, gears, pistons and other parts from all kinds of dirt, dust, dust as well as from the escape of grease, oil and other derivatives from inside the device. The simmering consists of a shaft sealing lip and a cylindrical outer part. The thickness of the lubricating film plays a big role. This thickness is due to the balance of forces acting on the sealing rings - hydrodynamic force and radial forces. Particularly worth noting here is the value of radial forces, since too high a value can lead to a reduction in the life of the seal. If the force value is too low, tightness may be disturbed.
